Specna Arms SA-A38 ONE™ Carbine Replica

SA-A38 carbine replica by Specna Arms is made largely of a uniform zinc and aluminium alloy, reinforced with steel elements in the most vulnerable points of the replica (steel elements - all the screws, pins and tactical sling swivels). The stock and the pistol grip were made from polymer. The receiver of the replica and the RIS handguard have undergone the process of anodizing, which guarantees a high degree of protection against corrosion. The paint was applied via a process of powder coating, after having the surface undergo the process of sandblasting prior to the application of paint. This provides a much higher than usual resistance of the applied paint to abrasion.

The replica’s parts are very well aligned - in a way that could be thus far noticed solely in replicas by such top-tier manufacturers as G&P or Classic Army, the replica is also perfectly balanced. This allows for almost ideal maneuverability of the replica and its weight is almost not noticeable once the replica has been shouldered.

The replica features a quick spring change system, so-called Enter & Convert™. Due to that system it is possible to rapidly and quickly adapt the power of the replica to the conditions expected on the playing field without the necessity to have access to a workshop or a set of special tools - once the gearbox has been taken out of the replica’s body, the process of spring change lasts literally seconds.

The advantages of Enter & Convert™ system are hard to overstate. In the light of the current tendency in the whole Europe to use legal limitations regarding the muzzle velocity of replicas or internal regulations inside various groups, the system guarantees the user a varied set of possibilities and much freedom. Enter & Convert™ system allows with a minimal amount of time to exchange the main spring, thus to customize the muzzle velocity towards the area of the game in such a way so as to guarantee an ideal compromise between the effectiveness of fire and safety for the User himself as well as other participants.

The replica is fully compatible with LiPo and LiFe batteries.

A reinforced at the cylinder level gearbox contains a steel spring guide that is an element of Enter & Convert™ system and mounted on 8 mm ball bearings and caps steel gears. The system is secured with four anti-reversal latches. A light, made of polycarbonate polymer piston is equipped with a steel tooth in order to increase its durability. Also a type 2 cylinder and a steel circuit-breaker, as well as a metal Hop-Up chamber.

The upgraded version features an array of new, reinforced parts such as:

- set of reinforced, steel gears
- steel spring guide
- lightweight, polymer piston
- aluminum air-sealed piston head
- metal cylinder head
- air-sealed, metal nozzle

The replica is equipped with a top RIS 22 mm rail, MLOK handguard and an adjustable stock. The top RIS rail features flip-up iron sights, which can be freely detached in order to make room for the attachment of a chosen optoelectronic aiming device. Due to the extendable stock with an anti-slip stock pad, it is possible to adapt the replica’s length to the body type and preferences of the User. The flash hider is based on a 14 mm left-handed thread, which allows the attachment of a silencer in its place.

In order to enhance the realism of the game, the replica also features an operational bolt-catch mechanism.

The replica comes with a polymer, 300 BB, Hi-Cap magazine.

To buy an airsoft weapon in the UK you must have a valid airsoft defence.

This is not a licence, it is basically just proof that you intend to buy an airsoft weapon for use in airsoft.

An airsoft defence could be a UKARA or membership with the British Airsoft Club, and various other forms of defence.

You can only obtain an airsoft defence once you are over the age of 18.

To get an airsoft defence the law is that you should play at least 3 games of airsoft, and that you must have been playing for at least two months.
You can still buy an airsoft gun without a defence, provided you are 18 or older. If you choose to do this we would, by law, two tone (paint in a bright colour) parts of your chosen weapon. This is because an airsoft gun is considered a RIF aka Realistic Imitation Firearm, because they are so close to the real steel, whereas when you paint parts of it in a bright colour it becomes an IF aka Imitation Firearm. The reason being that the bright colours make it look less realistic to the public, and therefor less likely to be mistaken as real, were it to be used for any other purpose than airsoft.

When you order a gun from us you will need to add your defence details in the comments section of the cart. If you do not have a defence you will need to write the colour that you wish to be used for two toning your airsoft weapon.

Here is what's stated in the VCRA (Violent Crime Reduction) Act:

For airsoft skirmishing, the Association of British Airsoft is putting in place arrangements to allow retailers to check that individual purchasers are members of a genuine skirmishing club or site. The key elements of these arrangements are:
    1. new players must play at least 3 (three) times in a period of not less than two months before being offered membership
    2. membership cards with a photograph and recognised format will be issued for production to retailers
    3. A central database will be set up for retailers to cross-check a purchaser’s details
    4. member’s entry on the database will be deleted if unused for 12 months.
The defence for airsoft skirmishing can apply to individual players because their purchase of realistic imitation firearms for this purpose is considered part of the “holding” of a skirmishing event.
